For Christmas this past year, Sashi gave Lan an accordion book that described a bit of how he's been feeling. I was looking to create something that was completely from Sashi's POV and also looked like something he would make could his little resin hands hold scissors and a bottle of glue. In that aspect I was quite happy with this project because I think the book really does look as though it were made by him and is very true to Sashi's estethic.

On my end, this book was a complete labor of love. I struggled enormously with the small confines of the accordion book and with overall spatial planning. There were about three times in the two and a half months that I worked on it where it almost got trashed. In the end I can say that I learned more about papercrafting in general [still along way to go though, imo] and that there are pieces of the project that I love very much. There are obvious flaws that I can nitpick apart from here to next week [starting with the very quick pics of the pages that I took because I was trying to get the book into the mail] but if I wait until I'm completely happy with every single thing that I do then I'll never post anything at all.

This book was gifted to *Nezumi-chuu's Lan as a late Christmas gift this year. All photographic credit goes to Nezu [except the one solo pic of Sashi, which I snapped] and all credit for the book layout and whatnot goes to me.

Materials used: plain accordion book, various ribbons, rainbow drops, chipboard pieces, cardstock papers, tags, threads, stickers, paints, luminescent inks, and one door handle plate.
