Everyone's doing it and since I haven't updated this journal since September [I don't even know where the time went], a meme where I get to chatter about my dolls seems like a great way to reboot.


Who was your first doll? Do you still own him, her, or it?
Sashi was the first and yes, I still have him.

Who is your favorite doll?
I only have a few dolls, so let's say that they're all my favorites.

Which doll do you hope or plan to buy next?
Next I hope to buy a body for Hyx, but in terms of a full doll, I want to buy a Little Fee Chiwoo for Toddler!Zeph.

Luts SDF Dion Limited in WS.  I have no character to attach to him and no real need for him other than to look at the pretty, but I've always wanted that doll.

Nope, not right now.

Do any of your dolls seem to like you to the point that they are infatuated with you?
I think it's a safer bet that at most they all tolerate my presence.  Infatuated, not so much.

Who's your most expensive doll at the time you purchased them, not counting items you bought separately for them?
Sashi is still the most expensive.

Ikiri, who is a Soom Bygg Starlight Prince.

Is there a limit to what you'd spend on a doll?
Probably.  I can't really see shelling out thousands when there are several dolls I want who only cost a few hundred dollars.

Which doll did you wait for the longest for so far?
Mitten.

Which doll had the shortest wait so far?
Zephyr—he was at my doorstep in less than a week.

Who's the biggest doll you own?
Arch is the biggest—he's an SDF.

Who's the smallest doll you own?
My Soom tinies, Mitten and Ikiri, are the smallest.

Got any floating heads? If yes, how likely are they to receive bodies anytime soon?
Yep, Hyx still needs a body of his own.

That would be great, but no.

Do you have any extra, unclaimed pairs of eyes? How many if so?
I have two floating, unclaimed pairs, one is clear and one is violet.

Do you have any extra, unclaimed wigs? How many if so?
One—it's a Crobi wig that I loved from the moment I saw it and bought it without a character to attach it to.  Right now it sits and looks pretty.

Anything you've said "never" to in the hobby that you later gave in to?
I'd never really need any more than two dolls.  Then Arch came along and it was downhill from there.

Do you own dolls that aren't BJDs?
No.

What was your last doll-related purchase?
Christmas/VDay/Birthday gifts for Zeph and Sashi's SOs.

What do you expect your next doll-related purchase to be?
Probably clothing unless I can scrape together enough to get Ikiri's feet painted.

What was the last doll-related thing to arrive to you by mail?
Ikiri's glasses.

What was the last doll-related thing you purchased in person?
I was there when *Nezumi-chuu did the face-ups and blushing on several members of my crew back in May—does that count?

Not counting floating heads, floating bodies, and anything on layaway (paid off dolls count), how many complete dolls do you own?
Five [Okay, I just counted twice to make sure that was right!  When did I end up with five?!]
