•Now that Halloween is completed in regards to gifts/cards/crafts, it’s time to focus on Christmas. I have lots of homemade gifts going out this year and I’ve already started on a few in an attempt to get things finished for an early December mailing. [Trying to beat the rush at the P.O., which is always insane during the holidays. >.<] I’m trying a couple of new things that I’ve never done before, so it should be interesting to see how they work out [or don’t—lol] Also, I’m working on the cutest secret project and am hoping that it turns out like I see in my head because it’ll be unique and different. Yay for craftiness—it makes me happy. ^__^

•So it’s hard to not feel all Christmas-y already since the stores have begun to get out all the holiday things. Archivers is the worst with all the Christmas papers and stamps and embellishments right up at the front of the store. They had the cutest reindeer and snowflakes stamps that I may have to go back to when the newest coupon arrives in the mail. Target is no better—already putting up holiday ornaments and when I was there on Sunday they were assembling the trees. Plus mint M&Ms were on the shelf and I love those things like I love Cadbury Mini Eggs. ^^ Ooh, and mint hot chocolate! Starbucks will have that very soon…

•Tomorrow is Sashi’s birthday! He’ll be getting a special birthday shoot to celebrate, plus I ordered the Black Fer male version outfit that DoA had for sale during their anniversary event and it should arrive this week. I really just want the coat part of it and will probably sell off the rest, but we’ll see once it arrives. I’ve also been considering finally getting Sashi a new wig for his modern day self, even though I normally only take pics of him with his long hair [and it’ll be a little strange to see him with the short hair again]. I found one that I like at Leeke, but I’m going to shop around a bit more.

•So, drawing question: I’ve been working on the October art challenge, which is due at the end of the week. I did several sketches but ended up scrapping them all because I seem to be having trouble drawing figures that look relaxed and not straight up at attention all the time. I don’t like the unnatural look of it and have tried to study real photographs and manga to fix it, but haven’t been overly successful. So peeps that draw, any suggestions?
